Our favourite part of the day when Nixon stays is the snuggles in the morning. Nixon just loves the Old McDonalds Farm book. Actually after Mick went out to do something with the dogs Nixon was walking around saying "Woof, woof". He is quite the wee parrot at the moment.
| Giving Nixon a kiss. A selfie kiss?! |
When Mick went off to walk the hounds Nixon was at the windows saying "Grandad" He doesn't say it so clearly but it is Grandad. He is certainly Grandad's boy.
We made the most of Grandad not being around to have a wee dance around the lounge. Nixon taught me some cool moves.
| Don't let them put me back in bed Charlie!!! |
When Nixon got up from his sleep Grandad was in charge. They had toasted sandwiches for lunch. It was a coincidence that Nixon filled his pants just as I arrived home... or had Grandad chosen not to notice? Hmmm. I have my own theory on that one! I had to pop to town to get my lashes done and pick up some warm clothes for our wee man. It was pretty cold today. All the animals were hanging around when I got home. Baxter, Charlie and Feral. They all have a bit of a claim on Nixon. Feral just likes him (and the rest of us) when she is cold. He is like a wee belly warmer!
Posing for nana.
We had a lovely day even though was too cold and damp to go outside but just before bath time we let Nixon go out for a little while. Poor wee guy was stuck inside all day but he didn't seem to mind. He sat on Grandad's knee at tea time. I put Nixon's dinner on Mick's plate because he does prefer to eat off his plate rather than his own!
Nixon was back in bed by 7pm tired and ready.
