I missed out on the very best bit of the day today. Grandad let me sleep in until after 9am and I did sleep till then. Grandad had been up with Nixon since 7.30am (but up with the bloody hounds since 6.15 as usual). They had had stories, danced to the music, had cuddles and played. Mick was just in the process of making the bottle when I ventured out to join them. "Is it three scoops to 250 mls?" was the question I got. Hmm nearly. Try 5. Great to see Grandad having a go. I only got a few minutes with our wee man and he was ready to go back to bed.
Nixon woke up in time for us to have a lovely visit from the lady next door. We hadn't really met our new neighbour properly so it was lovely to have her visit with a bit of home baking for a cuppa. Nixon wanted to see her puku. We got through that awkward bit of the visit in one piece. All puku in tact along with everyone's dignity!
Luckily it was a lot cooler this morning so after a walk around the garden to inspect the changes we all hung out on the couch snuggling, getting kisses and watching Trackside. Nixon just cracks me right up when starts dancing to the commentators. Our wee man is too cute! We discovered a new tooth. A back bottom one. It could explain the wee bit of grizzling the last couple of evenings. The other side is close to coming through too.

| Can I help Grandad |
 |
| Sorry Charlie I'll have this seat! |
After Nixon went down for his afternoon nap Mick and I got stuck in and dug out the lawn ready for the cobble stones down. By that stage it was up to about 26 degrees C so it was hot, hard work.
When Nixon got up we had a bit of chill out time inside.

| It is okay Nana, I said he could get up here. |
 |
| Look cute, Charlie, really cute and she won't say anything. |
Once he crawled over to the French Doors he noticed the change straight away and wanted down the steps to check it out. He crawled backwards and forwards through the dirt, checked out the wheelbarrow from top to bottom and even lay down in the dirt to look under it. He crawled over to me and tried to lift the garden fork. It was a wee bit too big for him.

| Trying to push the barrow. |
 |
| Talking away to himself and the wheelbarrow |
 |
| Hmmm no motor and only one wheel |
 |
| How does this thing work. |
 |
| Go away Nana and let us men do the job. |
 |
| Yep that is right Nana just push me around! |
 |
| It is along way down there. |
 |
| What are these poncy things? |
Grandad walked past to the kennel. Nixon just motored off at top speed after him. When Mick came back we put Nixon in the wheel barrow for a ride. Mick got back into sorting out the cobblestone area and Nixon was in there quick as a flash 'helping'. He is so cute.
I think the other tooth started playing up because all of a sudden about 5.15 he just got grizzly. He didn't want food, he had a bit of water and finally a biscuit sorted him out in the short term. He then stood at the bench and grizzled. He could see his empty bottle. I hid it and distracted him with another biscuit. He was then ready to eat some Pumpkin Risotto. He didnt' get it all over him tonight.

| Come on Nana get onto my dinner! |
Another wee play and it was bath time. I don't know why we spend so much money buying toys when Nixon entertains himself for ages with an egg carton, empty coke bottle and the box that the xmas lights came in.
The bath was quick. I scrubbed him fast. He didn't want to be in there but he so needed to be after all that dirt he was playing in! I think I got him clean enough to be presentable. He smelled lovely afterwards though.
