Nana and Grandad's travels Night 1

We had a lovely night. Watched the sunset over Yangon. View wasn't probably the best but it was pretty exciting watching hundreds of crows make their way in wee groups to the trees across from our hotel. Squawking bloody things. Earlier in the day when I was taking a photo down by the wee lake a crow attacked me. It zoomed in and grabbed my head with its claws quickly and flew off. I thought it had cut me but it hadn't. Bloody vicious thing. Gave me a hell of a fright.

One of the hundreds of evil crows that flew over us on their way to roost for the night.

We watched the water fighters continue on the street and some guys down below cleaning up rubble. They were loading the truck with big baskets full of concrete, rocks and bricks. A digger could have done it is five minutes. Will take them hours.
See the guy carting the rubble away.

After the sunset we wandered back to the bar we had been in earlier in the day and had a lovely dinner. Mick ordered far too much. There were three chicken dishes and watercress. So delicious. I love the food here. I reckon it is even better than Vietnamese and that is saying something.

A few beers and we wandered back home to the Winner Inn. Man we were knackered.
